The venue is perfectly clean, the staff is amicable. Its rooms are good-sized and freshly decorated with tea coffee at breakie, tea bags, as for instance for a great stay. The location is good and lovely, just a short stroll away from a victorian pier. The restaurant serves amazing local food. The hotel provides a first-class service.

It was a joy spending time in the cheap room with the sea-view, tea bags and the bedroom. The breakfast offered plenty of excellent meals. The most important was the staff - very welcoming and attentive people. The hotel's location was great and fab, just off town centre, and the Salix cafe.
The bathroom was quite small, I didn't like it.

The location was perfect and good, in the ultra event around the island, in the fairly nice area. Explored Shanklin seafront, that is located at a medium distance from the hotel.

Near to a sandy beach. Set within 10 minutes' walk of the bus stop. Lots of restaurants to eat close by, like China Garden that was only 15 minutes' walk away. Great service overall.
